Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the full audit cycle for a portfolio of clients.
- Leading audit planning, budgeting, and execution of engagements.
- Overseeing teams on-site and remotely, reviewing deliverables and providing feedback.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Supporting team members through coaching and professional development.
- Identifying and resolving issues that impact workflow, team performance, or client delivery.
- Promoting digital innovation and upskilling in audit methodology and tools.
- Analysing complex audit findings and providing practical, forward-looking recommendations.
- Contributing to the firm's strategic thinking on risk, governance, and emerging business trends.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA or ICAEW) with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, including at least one year in a management role. Proven success in delivering audits within a regulated environment is essential, and experience with financial services clients is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, organisational and team leadership skills are key, along with a commercial mindset and a passion for high-quality service.
