An excellent opportunity to play a key role within a busy finance team, with a focus on managing the accounts payable process, producing daily reports, and assisting with wider financial reporting for the Channel Islands operation.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Administering the accounts payable process in line with internal procedures and SOX controls.
  • Ensuring timely vendor payments and managing related queries.
  • Producing weekly reconciliations of the purchase ledger.
  • Preparing and analysing daily bank reports.
  • Maintaining interest rate systems and managing petty cash transactions.
  • Assisting with the monthly financial close.
  • Supporting the finance team during audits, including document collation and organisation.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience in a finance environment, preferably working with a purchase ledger or similar finance system. Strong organisation skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage workloads under pressure are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with management, colleagues, vendors and auditors.
