A great opportunity to join a specialist pension services provider supporting bespoke personal pension plans, with a particular focus on non-standard assets. The role involves managing day-to-day administration tasks, working with private equity, property, and other complex investments. This is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and technical environment with client contact and detailed processes.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Administering bespoke personal pension plans, particularly those holding non-standard assets.
  • Preparing documentation for distributions, transfers, and investment instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate records using Viewpoint and internal systems.
  • Drafting trustee minutes, resolutions, and benefit documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, intermediaries, and investment providers.
  • Supporting new business onboarding and contributions processes.
  • Assisting with compliance and fee collections.
  • Collaborating with accounts and compliance teams regarding fund movements.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to pensions or trust administration. GCSEs in English and Maths are essential, and the candidate should be working towards, or willing to undertake, a STEP or ICSA/CGI qualification. Excellent organisational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong attention to detail are key. Familiarity with anti-money laundering regulations and client due diligence would be beneficial.
