Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Administering claims for group life, critical illness and income protection policies in line with set procedures and turnaround times.
  • Liaising with brokers, clients, claimants, and medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Supporting the preparation and processing of reports, payroll updates and data entry.
  • Managing relationships with reinsurers and third-party providers.
  • Monitoring and improving claims administration quality and service delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational procedures and risk management processes.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a business-related degree and have previous office experience, ideally in a financial or insurance setting. Excellent numeracy, communication, and IT skills-particularly in Excel and Word-are essential. A detail-oriented and organised approach, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, is key. An interest in or willingness to pursue industry qualifications (e.g. QFA or DLDC Diploma) is desirable.
