This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced fund administration professional to manage a limited portfolio of fund structures and build strong client relationships. The role is well-suited to someone with sound technical knowledge and a proactive approach to leadership, governance, and service delivery.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the primary contact for a designated portfolio of fund structures.
- Coordinating legal, tax, and other professional service requirements.
- Developing and maintaining operational procedure manuals and ISAE checklist templates.
- Leading and participating in client board and shareholder meetings, including minute reviews.
- Overseeing the timely preparation, review, and distribution of financial statements in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Acting as a "B" level 4-eyes signatory for administrative matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assisting with billing processes, including time analysis and managing aged debtor follow-up.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, contributing to training and development initiatives.
- Supporting the appraisal and performance review process within the team.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold relevant professional qualification (e.g., CGI Diploma or equivalent) and bring substantial post-qualification experience within the financial services sector. A comprehensive understanding of the Guernsey regulatory framework is essential. Prior experience in fund administration is preferred, although related financial services experience with transferable skills will also be considered. The role requires strong leadership and client relationship management skills, with the ability to guide a small team and contribute to wider service excellence.
