This Senior Fund Administrator role sits at the centre of client delivery within a structured fund services environment! The position requires strong technical capability, organisational discipline and a proactive approach to managing client expectations.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of property, private equity and alternative fund clients.
- Liaising with clients, advisers and third parties to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Working closely with Fund Accountants to ensure accurate bookkeeping and accounting of investment transactions.
- Calculating and arranging payment of fund fees and expenses in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Arranging approval and payment of invoices and overseeing cash management across structures.
- Managing fund transfers, investment purchases, distributions and foreign exchange transactions.
- Reviewing cash positions to ensure sufficient liquidity and optimisation of surplus funds.
- Reconciling bank accounts and investigating outstanding items.
- Ensuring structures operate within investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with Company Secretarial teams to coordinate board meetings, agendas and board papers.
- Drafting minutes for board and committee meetings as required.
- Ensuring statutory, regulatory and reporting obligations are met.
- Maintaining accurate investor registers and data records.
- Identifying process improvements and contributing to IT system development initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have considerable fund administration experience within property, private equity or alternative structures. They will either hold, or be studying towards, a relevant professional qualification and demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge. Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels. A proactive mindset, professionalism and commitment to continuous improvement will ensure success in this role.
