Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the preparation and presentation of insurance-related material for client board and strategy meetings.
- Managing documentation and correspondence efficiently, maintaining accurate electronic filing.
- Assisting with insurance renewals, contract reviews, and premium monitoring.
- Supporting underwriting and claims administration, including reviewing loss data and preparing claims authorisations.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance client services.
- Monitoring collateral tracking systems and inputting data from contracts.
- Gaining exposure to re/insurance and insurance-linked securities operations.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold or be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in any subject and will demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to working in a collaborative environment are essential. While prior administrative experience is advantageous, it is not required. Applicants must have the right to work in Guernsey without sponsorship.
