This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading insurance group and play a key role in delivering change across business and operational functions. This role is ideal for a commercially minded business analyst with a background in financial services, who enjoys shaping and improving processes through collaboration and insight. This role will operate on a contract basis of 8-12 months, with the potential for extension to 24 months.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather, document and translate business and system requirements.
- Analysing and mapping current operational processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Supporting solution design in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
- Acting as the liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment of project goals.
- Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and training related to new initiatives.
- Conducting data analysis to inform business cases and decision-making processes.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a business analysis role within financial services or insurance. They will be highly analytical, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement. Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as proficiency in business process modelling tools, is essential. A working knowledge of general insurance operations and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR or FCA guidelines would be advantageous. Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI or Monday.com) is desirable.
