As a Trainee Trust Officer, you will assist with the administration of a varied portfolio of client structures, gaining exposure to multiple jurisdictions and working alongside experienced team members who will provide full training and development support.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration of trusts, companies, and other fiduciary structures.
- Drafting standard correspondence, minutes, and resolutions under supervision.
- Maintaining accurate client records and statutory data.
- Supporting the opening of bank accounts and processing of payments and investments.
- Liaising with banks, investment managers, legal professionals, and other third parties.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Assisting with periodic reviews and risk assessments of client entities.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn. Strong written and verbal communication skills, competency in Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in trust and company administration are essential. Prior office or administrative experience, particularly in financial services, would be an advantage but is not essential. An interest in, or willingness to work towards, a relevant professional qualification such as STEP is desirable.
