Our client-an independent fiduciary and fund administration business, with a specialism in venture capital and private client services, is seeking a capable individual to support the operational infrastructure of the organisation. The role works closely with stakeholders across the business, as well as external IT and security providers, to ensure the firm's operational and governance requirements are consistently met.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating operational projects and supporting implementation, tracking progress and reporting on status.
- Acting as a liaison with outsourced IT providers for non-helpdesk operational support.
- Supporting the business in the day-to-day execution of information and cyber security tasks, such as audits and asset reviews.
- Assisting with compliance in data protection, policy reviews, and data subject access requests.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of internal policies aligned with the governance framework.
- Contributing to operational reporting, Board updates, and administrative tasks.
- Maintaining effective relationships with external vendors, including service reviews and contract renewals.
Skills / Qualifications
This role would suit a self-motivated candidate with strong project coordination and IT awareness, ideally with 5+ years' experience in a financial services environment. A working knowledge of GFSC requirements and governance best practice is desirable, along with a proactive, analytical approach.
