People Manager

• Leading and delivering the people and organisational agenda across the business.
• Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and talent management strategies.
• Acting as a key advisor on employment law, policies and people-related matters.
• Managing payroll coordination, benefits administration and reporting processes.
• Overseeing recruitment processes, including coordination, onboarding and candidate management.
• Supporting learning and development initiatives, including training programmes and career progression planning.
• Managing employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, performance management and absence.
• Maintaining HR systems, records and reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting employee relations matters and advising managers on best practice.
• Leading or contributing to people-related projects aligned with business strategy.
• Promoting employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and organisational culture.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' HR experience and hold, or be working towards, a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent). They will demonstrate strong knowledge of employment legislation, ideally within Guernsey, and experience supporting a commercial business environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work both strategically and operationally. The successful individual will be proactive, organised and confident in driving people initiatives across the business.
