Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with senior leadership to deliver development frameworks for legal professionals at all career stages.
  • Manage the delivery of development programmes, including facilitation and coordination with internal and external providers.
  • Support firm-wide talent and development projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive engagement with learning programmes, networks, and development offerings.
  • Contribute to partner-track and high-potential development processes.
  • Ensure development programmes remain relevant and aligned with industry changes and qualification routes.
  • Facilitate and observe internal programmes, providing coaching and feedback to facilitators.
  • Identify and manage external training providers aligned with organisational culture and objectives.
  • Provide advisory support to senior stakeholders on individual and team development needs.
  • Manage the legal training budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Line manage a senior team member, providing coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Collaborate with wider talent and HR colleagues to ensure a joined-up, global approach to development.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in talent management and learning and development within a legal or professional services environment. You will be credible with senior stakeholders, comfortable operating in a global context, and confident managing multiple priorities. This role suits someone who is pragmatic, digitally minded, and motivated by helping individuals and organisations thrive through purposeful development.
