Financial Accountant

• Assist with the preparation of management information, including management accounts, AUM reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and ad hoc reporting.
• Liaise with auditors and provide supporting documentation for annual audits and statutory accounts.
• Perform financial analysis and support the implementation of business plans and group initiatives.
• Raise revenue invoices and assist with the calculation of quarterly account handling fees.
• Support accounts payable activity, including invoice processing and payment checks.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly statistical returns for submission to relevant regulators.
• Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger records in consultation with the accounts payable function.
• Review daily cash requirements and investigate variances or adjustments as required.
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into group reporting processes.
• Travel periodically to other jurisdictions to support finance operations and group collaboration.
• Assist the Financial Controller with the delivery of wider group finance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), with strong attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach. Excellent Excel skills, confidence working with financial data, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential. Experience with Sage 200, NetSuite, or Anaplan would be beneficial but is not required, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
