FTC Part-Time Senior Procurement Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Coordinator to join their Procurement & Supply Chain team on an 11-month fixed-term contract, working 30 hours per week. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials through a complex supply chain while supporting operational continuity during maternity cover.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure clear communication and on-time, in-full delivery performance.
  • Coordinating procurement activity across multiple product lines and maintaining visibility of priorities.
  • Monitoring stock levels and demand trends to minimise out-of-stock risk while optimising working capital.
  • Supporting New Product Development initiatives by coordinating procurement timelines and stakeholder inputs.
  • Identifying supply chain risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Monitoring cost of goods and supplier delivery performance, highlighting discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate ERP and forecasting system records and reconciling documentation.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with planning, quality, marketing and operations teams.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement controls and processes.
  • Providing administrative and coordination support to the wider procurement team where required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience within procurement, supply chain, logistics or FMCG coordination, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel capability and strong Microsoft Office skills are essential. They will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and confidence engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Experience with ERP or stock forecasting systems, exposure to NPD processes and working with international suppliers would be advantageous.
