Finance Manager

• Overseeing an accounts team responsible for a large portfolio of client entities.
• Reviewing and signing off financial statements for trusts, funds and companies.
• Supporting the preparation and review of financial statements where required.
• Managing Guernsey and UK corporate tax and VAT reporting obligations.
• Reviewing and submitting tax returns and supporting tax compliance activities.
• Managing external audit processes for GFSC-regulated entities.
• Supporting monthly management reporting, budgeting and trend analysis.
• Monitoring compliance with GFSC financial capital requirements.
• Supporting system improvements and finance process enhancements.
• Providing technical accounting guidance and resolving accounting queries across the business.
• Collaborating with wider Group entities on finance-related activities.

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and possess strong experience within accounting, fiduciary or financial services environments. They will demonstrate excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS102), alongside experience managing financial reporting, tax and audit processes. Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential, together with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The successful individual will be proactive, technically strong and comfortable supporting both operational and strategic finance activities.
