Trainee Fund Accountant

• Supporting bookkeeping, accounting and reporting for a portfolio of venture capital funds.
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Supporting audit processes and responding to audit queries.
• Assisting with the preparation of information for tax reporting.
• Monitoring client communications and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting financial processes.
• Working closely with fund administration teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Completing training programmes and studying towards professional qualifications. 

The ideal candidate will be a school leaver or graduate with A-Level qualifications or equivalent, including Maths and English, and demonstrate a strong interest in accounting or financial services. They will possess good communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to professional development are essential, along with basic IT skills and a problem-solving mindset.
