A varied accounting role supporting a portfolio of trust and company clients within a professional services environment. This position is suited to someone with experience who is looking to further develop their technical expertise.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing trust and company accounts in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Completing bookkeeping to support accounts preparation.
- Reviewing financial records, including bank and investment reconciliations.
- Producing financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual statements.
- Maintaining records to meet tax and regulatory filing deadlines.
- Providing technical support to colleagues on accounting matters.
- Liaising with investment managers, banks and professional contacts.
- Supporting projects and process improvements where required.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within an accounting environment and be part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification such as AAT, CAT, ACCA or ACA. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining accuracy. Experience with accounting systems is desirable, and the successful individual will be proactive, professional and capable of building strong working relationships.
