Customer Care Advisor

Our client a privately owned group of retail companies based in the Channel Islands, is seeking to recruit a Customer Care Advisor.

Responsibilities

Take a variety of Customer Care calls.
Accurately logging orders, information and queries.
Manage individual finance and mail order queries.
Sort and prepare incoming mail.
Prepare and sort the banking.
Carry out general admin duties, such as scan mail orders.
Send cheques to bank and return unsigned cheques to customers.
Complete shortfall orders.
Honesty orders.
Update customer accounts with moved away/deceased and changes of addresses, as well as subscribes and saves.
Obtain repeat order customers’ up to date card details.
Cover the sales order line when needed.
Process specialised orders for our Elite range.
Assist Customer Care Admin when and where needed.
Cover Reception on an ad hoc basis.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and organisational techniques. Applicants will demonstrate solid IT skills and computer literacy coupled with a confidant, polite and friendly telephone manner. The successful candidate will display the ability to multi task, such as entering into the database whilst on the telephone, and maintain a high level of accuracy. This role will suit a detailed, proactive and flexible hard worker with excellent interpersonal skills.
