Join our client in this exciting, hands-on trust administration role at Assistant Manager level, supporting both team leadership and portfolio management! The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high service standards and meeting internal and regulatory expectations.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the management of a team of administrators across all aspects of trust and company administration.
  • Supporting the Team Manager with day-to-day team operations and systems oversight.
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of an allocated portfolio of trust and corporate clients.
  • Delegating tasks to team members and supporting their development and training.
  • Handling and resolving complex operational and client matters with support from senior management where required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high service standards.
  • Monitoring team utilisation, billing targets and cash collection performance.
  • Assisting in keeping debtors to a minimum and reporting to senior management where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of internal processes and procedures.
  • Providing regular management information to senior management on team progress and performance.
  • Assuming authorised signatory responsibilities where appropriate.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or CGI and have a minimum of five years' experience within the trust industry. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of trust and company administration, financial transactions and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage workloads, meet billing targets and support team performance. Previous management experience is desirable but not essential; however, the ability to lead, delegate and foster collaboration within a team is key.
