Our client is seeking a Junior Developer to join their in-house technology team supporting global operations- ideal for a technically minded individual looking to build experience across development and IT support. The role combines software development with system support across bespoke platforms.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development and delivery of software products and DevOps initiatives.
- Maintaining and enhancing internal systems, including payroll and registration platforms.
- Collaborating with external partners to support system integrations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of data structures and system performance.
- Responding to feedback from senior team members and implementing improvements.
- Generating reports for internal stakeholders.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and a keen interest in software development. They will have experience or exposure to PHP and MySQL, with an understanding of cloud environments such as AWS. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. A proactive approach, willingness to learn and an interest in developing secure and efficient systems are key.
