Working within a fast-paced private wealth environment, this Associate Director role focuses on delivering sophisticated client solutions while supporting operational and team performance. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with leadership capability.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and developing a complex portfolio of private wealth clients, providing high-level technical solutions.
  • Acting as an authorised "A" signatory for payments and board documentation.
  • Reviewing and approving board resolutions and minutes in accordance with signing authorities.
  • Ensuring internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  • Liaising with internal legal, accounting and tax specialists on complex client matters.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for high-net-worth clients and intermediaries on complex queries.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and advising senior management accordingly.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members on technical and operational issues.
  • Conducting performance reviews and objective-setting for team members.
  • Overseeing team workload, utilisation and financial performance against targets.
  • Contributing to business development and portfolio growth initiatives.


Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' relevant fiduciary experience, including managing their own portfolio of private wealth clients. They will hold a professional qualification such as STEP, ACCA or equivalent and demonstrate strong technical understanding of complex trust and corporate structures. Significant client-facing experience, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and intermediaries, is essential. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership capability and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of governance and service delivery.
