Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a main point of contact for billing and collections matters on a day-to-day basis.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners through regular reviews of WIP and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor transaction progress, expected fee levels, and anticipated billing dates, taking action to facilitate timely billing.
  • Contribute to the accurate valuation of work in progress and debtors on a periodic basis.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc revenue and collections reports for finance leadership, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure client and matter fee arrangements are correctly implemented and followed.
  • Ensure VAT, GST, and other local tax requirements are accurately reflected and accounted for.
  • Liaise with clients, intermediaries, partners, and fee earners to resolve account queries.
  • Manage client funds balances relating to fees and disbursements in line with regulatory and banking requirements.
  • Support activity across e-billing platforms and related processes.
  • Interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels, adjusting communication style as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of revenue control and basic accounting principles, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a results-driven environment. This role suits a strong team player who can build effective relationships across finance and client-facing teams and who enjoys taking ownership of revenue processes within a professional services setting.
