An fantastic, part-time (25 hours per week) opportunity has arisen for a numerate, detail-driven professional to take responsibility for trade accounts and credit control within a growing organisation!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage trade customer accounts, including credit checks, due diligence, and approval of new accounts.
- Create, maintain, and monitor customer accounts to ensure accuracy and effective risk management.
- Review and approve credit limit changes and sales over credit limit workflows.
- Proactively chase aged receivables, issue payment reminders, and provide year-end statements.
- Respond to customer and internal queries via shared finance inboxes.
- Post and allocate daily customer cash receipts.
- Process payment remittances, deductions, and customer refunds.
- Draft and issue manual monthly sales invoices and year-end statements.
- Calculate and post bad debt provisions and write-offs at month-end.
- Support sales, customer care, and call centre teams with finance-related queries.
- Maintain up-to-date documented procedures for all key credit control tasks.
- Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required by the finance leadership team.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be numerically minded, highly organised, and confident working independently. You will have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing accounts and resolving queries. This role suits someone with previous credit control or finance experience who enjoys taking responsibility, meeting deadlines, and contributing to a collaborative finance function.
