Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosing and resolving desktop, network and server issues.
  • Responding to support enquiries, logging and escalating where needed.
  • Providing regular updates to clients on ticket progress.
  • Ensuring product configurations meet client business needs.
  • Gaining knowledge of client environments and documenting issues/resolutions.
  • Completing daily health checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Supporting team members and escalating tickets appropriately.
  • Creating clear, detailed technical documentation.
  • Following best practices for deployment and configuration.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the ticketing system.
  • Achieving relevant certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, Document Management).
  • Assisting colleagues with support calls, office moves, project tasks and general duties.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Adhering to support procedures, Company Handbook and security policies.
  • Maintaining strong information-security awareness.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT support professional with strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, network and server technologies. They will be confident engaging with clients, proactive in managing workloads and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication, strong documentation skills and a commitment to customer service are essential. A willingness to obtain Microsoft 365/Azure certifications is expected.
