Our client- a prominent organisation in the fiduciary services sector, is seeking a Relationship Manager to join its trust division. The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high standards of service, compliance with regulatory obligations, and supporting business development opportunities.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Attending meetings with clients and their advisers, including bankers, lawyers, and accountants.
- Managing client needs effectively and conducting regular reviews in line with business risk profiles.
- Supporting business development by contributing to sales targets and identifying new business opportunities.
- Leading the onboarding of new clients, including CDD collection, risk rating, and approvals.
- Monitoring and reviewing existing client relationships to ensure compliance and profitability.
- Providing technical guidance and support to administration teams.
- Ensuring policies, procedures, and legal obligations are consistently met.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client database records.
- Preparing reports and meeting deadlines for client and regulatory submissions.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects and ensuring timesheets and internal records are completed accurately.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the trust industry, supported by a relevant professional qualification. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of trust administration, regulatory requirements, and client management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be adaptable, ethical, and commercially aware, with a strong focus on client service and retention. They will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage a varied portfolio while maintaining high standards of delivery. Leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach will also be key.
