Join our clients' investment, fiduciary and pensions division in a senior technical role. This position is ideally suited to an experienced professional looking to apply industry knowledge in a supervisory, regulatory or policy context. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will help ensure the effective supervision of licensed firms and contribute to policy development in this evolving regulatory environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of risk-based supervision using the Commission's PRISM framework.
- Leading and participating in on-site inspections, thematic reviews and ad hoc supervisory activity.
- Undertaking file reviews, analysing business models and assessing risk exposures.
- Preparing risk memos, reports and updates for internal stakeholders and governance forums.
- Liaising with local and international licensees, industry bodies and other regulators.
- Reviewing applications for licences, approvals, exemptions or rule changes.
- Contributing to the drafting, review and implementation of relevant rules, codes and guidance.
- Providing technical support to colleagues and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Keeping up to date with market, regulatory and legislative developments across sectors.
- Participating in cross-divisional projects and industry consultations as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the investment, fiduciary or pensions sectors, or within a regulatory, legal or compliance environment. A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICA, STEP, CISI, ICSA or equivalent) is preferred, alongside a sound understanding of the local and international regulatory landscape. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, as is a collaborative and proactive approach. This role is well suited to someone who is motivated by detail, quality and the opportunity to make a broader industry impact.
