Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trust and company structures under supervision.
- Preparing routine correspondence, board packs and client resolutions.
- Maintaining accurate records within the administration system and client files.
- Liaising with banks, investment managers and professional advisers.
- Processing payments, bookkeeping entries and fee collection in line with procedures.
- Supporting the setup and termination of structures, including simple documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with AML and KYC requirements, escalating where necessary.
- Participating in internal training to develop knowledge of trust law, regulations and relevant qualifications.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn and willing to study towards a professional qualification such as the STEP Certificate or Diploma. They should have strong organisational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office-especially Word and Excel-is expected. No previous experience in finance is required, but an interest in the industry is essential.
