This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide key compliance support within a well-regarded financial services business. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will focus on the analysis and collection of client due diligence (CDD) for new corporate client onboarding. This role is available for an immediate start and will be offered on a short-term basis for up to 6 months.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Analysing CDD requirements for new corporate clients and ensuring the timely collection of relevant documentation.
- Navigating public databases and internal systems to verify client information.
- Maintaining internal records, trackers, and logs to ensure complete audit trails and oversight of CDD activities.
- Conducting screening checks and follow-up research as necessary, escalating issues appropriately.
- Managing a personal workload across multiple cases and ensuring timelines are met.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in CDD onboarding, particularly involving corporate relationships within the Guernsey banking, insurance, or fiduciary sectors. A strong working knowledge of local financial crime prevention regulations is essential. Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently are required. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable collaborating within a small compliance team.
