Junior Trade Counter

• Providing a high level of customer service across phone, email, and in-person enquiries.
• Processing customer orders, generating quotations, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborating with the transport team to coordinate deliveries, including off-island logistics.
• Supporting supplier relationships and contributing to product line improvements.
• Addressing customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate records, managing returns, and ensuring stock information is kept up to date.
• Participating in supplier training and sales meetings to support continuous development.
• Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity to contribute to sales strategy.
• Supporting the Sales Manager and wider team with ad hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. Previous experience in sales or customer service is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are key. An interest in trade or retail environments and a flexible approach will support success in this role.
