Our client is offering a short-term opportunity for an individual with a strong background in fiduciary services to support their periodic risk review process. This 6-month contract role is suited to someone confident in client risk assessments, CDD, and navigating regulatory frameworks within a busy trust environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting periodic reviews of client files to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Risk rating clients and identifying appropriate levels of screening based on legislation and internal protocols.
- Monitoring client activity to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, codes of practice and procedures.
- Reviewing and updating customer due diligence (CDD) documentation to meet local regulatory and internal standards.
- Identifying and escalating any risks or potential breaches in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Assisting with additional administrative or compliance-related duties as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a trust or compliance environment with good knowledge of fiduciary principles, trust and company law, and regulatory obligations. A relevant qualification or active progress towards one is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under time constraints are essential, along with a collaborative and professional approach.
