FTC HR Maternity Cover

Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide maternity cover for a 6 month period until the end of December 2025. Reporting to the Managing Director, this full-time role will provide HR generalist support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, while also overseeing the smooth running of the Guernsey office

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.
- Supporting performance management, development plans and training coordination.
- Administering employee benefits and maintaining HR records.
- Liaising with Finance for monthly payroll data input.
- Advising and supporting on employee relations and promoting staff wellbeing.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Providing HR updates to the board and assisting with strategic HR initiatives.
- Managing office-related matters including facilities, supplies and health and safety.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD qualification or equivalent and have 3–5 years’ HR generalist experience, ideally within financial services. Applicants should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
