A senior-level opportunity to provide corporate governance leadership within a regulated financial services business. This role is responsible for acting as Company Secretary, coordinating board and committee meetings, and ensuring regulatory and governance obligations are met to the highest standard.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising the Board on corporate governance best practice.
- Coordinating and attending Board and Committee meetings, preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with Directors and Officers regarding meeting attendance and onboarding of new Board members.
- Updating charters and corporate governance policies.
- Overseeing all statutory and regulatory filings with the relevant regulator.
- Developing and implementing governance, risk, and compliance policies and processes.
- Building relationships with senior colleagues, professional advisors, and regulatory contacts.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in governance and operations management, ideally within financial services. Strong knowledge of Guernsey Company Law, data protection, and regulatory best practice is essential. Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship management skills are required, along with the ability to operate effectively at senior level. Occasional travel may be required.
