Join a leading fiduciary business in a key management role overseeing both client relationships and team performance. This position offers a blend of leadership, operational oversight and responsibility for delivering exceptional client service.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and overseeing a team of relationship managers and administrators.
- Delegating and controlling day-to-day operations including cash management, discretionary decisions and maintenance of statutory records.
- Reviewing and monitoring investment portfolios and client structures.
- Acting as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients and intermediaries.
- Identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling.
- Providing management information and reporting to senior leadership.
- Attending management meetings and contributing to process improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring chargeable utilisation targets, billing processes and fee collection.
- Managing aged debtors and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Setting SMART objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
- Providing training, mentoring and effective delegation of tasks.
- Maintaining awareness of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring review comments and compliance actions are completed and tracked.
- Supporting audit processes and contributing to strong audit outcomes.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI or ACCA and have strong experience within offshore trust and company administration. They will demonstrate proven experience managing a team, achieving billing and cash collection targets and delivering high levels of client service. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the Guernsey regulatory environment. The successful individual will be commercially aware, proactive and capable of building and developing client relationships, with the flexibility to travel when required.
