An opportunity has arisen to join a trust services team where your expertise will directly influence quality, governance, and long-term strategy. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a portfolio of Guernsey law trusts, acting as the primary relationship officer.
- Review and assess new trust onboarding documentation, identifying risks and documentation gaps.
- Execute trust transactions and oversee day-to-day administration activities.
- Draft and review trustee minutes, resolutions, and trust documentation.
- Ensure accurate and complete trust records are maintained in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain AML/CFT compliance, including CDD, source of funds and wealth reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, risk, finance, and client accounting teams.
- Coordinate work across onshore and offshore administration teams, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Support trust file reviews, FATCA/CRS processes, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Provide guidance and support to junior administrators and contribute to internal training initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and long-term development of the trust proposition.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Guernsey trust administration, with a strong understanding of trust law, AML/CFT requirements, and fiduciary best practice. You will be confident working independently while collaborating across teams, and motivated by maintaining high professional standards. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, mentoring others, and contributing to the evolution of a trust services offering.
