You'll work alongside experienced specialists on valuation assurance and advisory assignments, supporting clients across commercial, residential and development property markets. Strong analytical skills and a willingness to develop your technical knowledge will be key.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Review valuations of commercial, residential, operational and development property assets across UK and European markets.
- Assess property valuation methodologies, assumptions and supporting information for financial statement audit purposes.
- Support the preparation of real estate valuations and specialist advisory reports.
- Assist with valuation assignments relating to transactions, tax, business valuations and restructuring.
- Research property market trends and develop knowledge of valuation approaches across different sectors.
- Analyse property cashflows, financial information and relevant market data.
- Prepare clear reports, presentations and technical recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Directors on complex valuation assignments.
- Collaborate with audit teams and international colleagues on client engagements.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, investors and advisers.
- Support engagement planning, budgeting, risk procedures and quality control requirements.
- Assist with business development activities, including proposals, pitch materials and client presentations.
- Contribute to wider team projects while continuing to develop technical and commercial knowledge.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be newly RICS qualified or working towards RICS, or hold or be progressing towards another relevant qualification in real estate, valuation or finance. You'll have good knowledge of UK and European commercial property markets, together with practical experience in commercial real estate valuation and familiarity with valuation software such as Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer or MRI. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail, good Excel skills and the ability to deliver accurate written work. Knowledge of development or operational property valuations, financial reporting or real estate cashflow modelling would be advantageous. You'll be proactive, collaborative and keen to continue developing your technical expertise.
