Duties for this placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Taking responsibility for various client entity reporting requirements including, but not limited to, FATCA, CRS, MDR, DAC6, Country by Country reporting and Economic Substance.
Acting as the business owner of policies and procedures relating to client entity reporting and working closely with the head of Risk & Controls to ensure they remain up to date at all times.
Managing the technology and reporting framework for client entity reporting and building and maintaining an effective solution for the company Governance Services teams.
Providing training to the Governance Services teams, client entities and Boards on FATCA, CRS, MDR, DAC6, Country by Country reporting and Economic Substance.
Performing analysis on a variety of legislation to identify specific requirements and changes that may impact client entity reporting. In particular in relation to BEPS, and OECD Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 initiatives.
Managing the annual cycle of client entity reporting across Jersey, Guernsey and the UK.
Developing solutions and thought leadership on new reporting requirements as they emerge and providing training on related future legislation impacting client entities.
Managing reporting system upgrades and related testing alongside the IT team and members of the Governance Services operations team.
Assisting the operations team in identifying and implementing process improvements across the business.

Skills / Qualifications

Specific expertise around client entity reporting and the international tax landscape, with the enthusiasm and capacity to learn and develop including taking initiative to learn new skills and create client entity solutions, together with a proven record of taking ownership of tasks and responsibility for ensuring completion, strong relationship building skills and the ability to apply IT to solve business problems are essential to the role.
