Our client is seeking an Institutional Custody Manager to join their institutional custody and custodian trustee servicing teams! This role will focus on client relationship management and operational processing, ensuring service excellence across a portfolio of institutional and fund clients.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to client queries and communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
  • Assisting with regular reviews of client revenues to ensure ongoing financial viability.
  • Reviewing and progressing new business opportunities to secure additional assets under custody.
  • Identifying and developing broader relationships with clients and professional contacts.
  • Maintaining relationships with fund and institutional clients and establishing client calling programmes.
  • Supporting reviews of existing custody business to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Considering service or product enhancements where competitiveness can be improved.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, confident in dealing with all levels of personnel up to director level, as well as underlying corporate and individual clients. Strong administrative skills and an innovative approach to managing relationships are essential, together with the ability to enhance processes and system functionality. A sound knowledge of securities markets, including funds, hedge funds, and alternative investments, along with a strong understanding of the custodian's role within the regulatory environment, is required.
