This Operations role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of fund and investment management, supporting a diverse range of structures and portfolios. It's a position well suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building strong relationships across the industry.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the oversight and administration of investment management entities.
- Reviewing daily fund valuations prepared by administrators.
- Liaising with administrators and custodians to resolve trade breaks and settlement issues.
- Monitoring portfolios to ensure compliance with internal and external restrictions.
- Coordinating with auditors on queries relating to annual financial statements.
- Preparing and distributing monthly fund fact sheets for investors and prospects.
- Providing weekly performance and return estimates to investors.
- Supporting bank account management and reconciliations.
- Assisting in the launch of new funds, including coordination with service providers.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential, alongside proficiency in Excel and a willingness to adopt new technologies and processes. Experience in the fund services industry - particularly in fund administration, valuation, or fund accounting - would be highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and strong organisational skills are required.
