If you have solid Fund Accounting experience and are looking to join a growing business where you can make an impact, this could be a great next move. You'll take responsibility for a broad range of accounting deliverables across different fund structures while working closely with clients and professional intermediaries. Strong technical knowledge and relationship skills will be equally important.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support the day-to-day administration and accounting of a varied portfolio of fund structures.
- Prepare calls, distributions and quarterly valuations.
- Prepare management accounts and monthly and quarterly investor reporting.
- Produce and review annual financial statements.
- Complete and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
- Oversee bookkeeping and periodic bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review manual and electronic payment instructions.
- Process investment transactions and associated bookkeeping.
- Manage client audits from planning through to completion.
- Liaise regularly with clients and professional intermediaries.
- Proactively manage client expectations, deadlines and turnaround times.
- Maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients and external parties.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA, with at least 3 years' relevant fund industry experience and strong technical financial services knowledge. You'll be highly numerate and confident working across fund accounting, financial reporting and related processes, with good IT skills and excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are equally important, as you'll liaise regularly with clients, intermediaries and colleagues and be expected to build trusted, long-term working relationships. You'll be driven, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of a varied workload within a growing team.
