This is a part-time temporary opportunity within a maritime administration environment, providing support to the crew administration team. The successful candidate will assist with payroll, record keeping, contract drafting, and general administrative tasks. This varied role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, accurate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic sector.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with maintaining crew records and employment documentation.
Supporting the drafting and finalisation of crew contracts and associated paperwork.
Assisting with monthly payroll fund requests and arranging payments via payroll software and online banking.
Monitoring bank accounts for receipt of funds and logging transactions accordingly.
Assisting with the coordination of crew travel and document processing (e.g. visas, Flag State paperwork).
Preparing reports, records, and assisting with project-based crew administration work.
Providing general office administrative support including managing office supplies, handling post, and courier deliveries.
Supporting the booking of travel and company events during periods of absence or high demand.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive, flexible attitude is key, and an interest in the maritime, sailing, or yachting sector would be advantageous.
