Join a professional services firm in a varied front-of-house and administrative support role for 6 months on a temporary contract. This position involves a range of office-based duties, including providing a welcoming reception service, supporting facilities management, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks across the business.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Providing reception and switchboard cover and greeting visitors to the office.
Handling post and courier deliveries, including logging, scanning, sorting and distribution.
Coordinating outgoing post and arranging couriers.
Managing meeting room bookings and ordering refreshments as required.
Performing general administrative tasks including filing, document scanning and maintaining records.
Updating the weekly absence list and supporting with batching processes (training provided).
Responding to ad hoc internal queries and providing support where required.
Supporting office supply orders and basic facilities tasks.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and highly organised, with a flexible and proactive attitude. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure is key, and previous experience in an office support or reception-based role would be advantageous.
