Join a busy Credit Card team where you'll become a key source of support for both retail and corporate customers. You'll handle a broad range of enquiries and operational tasks while gaining exposure to onboarding, applications, transactions and financial crime risk. Previous banking experience is preferred, although strong transferable customer-facing experience will also be considered.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support retail and corporate clients with credit card applications and onboarding.
- Assist customers with digital onboarding, the mobile app and related services.
- Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Help resolve credit card transaction queries and issues.
- Prepare credit card application packs and complete relevant ID&V checks.
- Review applications for relevant higher-risk factors.
- Assist with direct debits and repayments to cardholder accounts.
- Support the handling of disputed and potentially fraudulent transactions.
- Complete daily administration, filing and client correspondence.
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have some previous banking or financial services experience, preferably gained in a customer-facing environment such as a bank branch or cashier role. You'll be confident dealing directly with customers and have strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside good analytical ability and attention to detail. Candidates from other customer-facing backgrounds will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong transferable skills and the ability to work accurately in a busy environment. You'll be keen to develop your knowledge of credit card operations, banking services and financial crime/fraud risk, with a proactive and helpful approach to resolving customer queries.
