From dividends and shareholder meetings to more complex market events, this role puts you at the centre of Corporate Actions processing. You'll take ownership of events, client instructions and reconciliations while helping colleagues navigate technical queries. It's ideally suited to someone who knows the Corporate Actions environment inside out.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up, maintain and monitor standard and complex Corporate Action events.
  • Maintain accurate event records, files and diary systems.
  • Notify clients of Corporate Actions, shareholder meetings and relevant updates.
  • Review client instructions and ensure appropriate signing and authorisation requirements are met.
  • Process holdings and cash movements accurately across client accounts.
  • Reconcile allocations and client entitlements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client queries and communications.
  • Investigate operational issues and resolve or escalate them appropriately.
  • Use custody and banking systems, sub-custodian links and relevant market information sources.
  • Support other areas of the Corporate Actions team as required.
  • Share technical knowledge and provide guidance and training to colleagues.
  • Identify and escalate potentially suspicious account or transaction activity in accordance with AML procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have in-depth Corporate Actions experience and a strong understanding of established practices across global markets. You'll have detailed knowledge of different Corporate Action events and their impact on shareholdings, entitlements and book-cost calculations, together with experience using custody and banking systems and relevant market information sources. Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills are essential, as you'll be working with multiple time-sensitive events and client instructions. You'll also be confident investigating issues, communicating with clients and colleagues and sharing your technical knowledge to support the development of the wider team.
