Join a leading financial services firm in this key compliance role, supporting the delivery of effective monitoring across fund and fiduciary operations. The successful candidate will play an integral role in implementing and maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Programme, providing assurance that regulatory requirements are consistently met, and helping to protect the business from financial crime, reputational, and operational risks.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing and updating the Compliance Monitoring Programme in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting compliance activities across both trust and funds operations.
  • Overseeing and maintaining compliance registers and logs, including the production of periodic management information.
  • Conducting customer file reviews to assess risk identification and mitigation.
  • Monitoring departmental compliance tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Providing assurance to senior compliance officers and the Board that effective controls are in place.
  • Assessing and escalating regulatory or risk issues and tracking them through to resolution.
  • Interpreting local and international regulatory guidance and communicating expectations clearly to operational teams.


Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years’ experience in a compliance-related role, with a minimum of 5 years specifically within CMP testing in the funds or fiduciary sector. A strong working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and codes is essential, alongside excellent report writing and data handling skills. Professional compliance qualifications are required. Candidates should be confident communicators with strong organisational abilities and the motivation to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the business.
