Duties for this placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Ensuring procedures are followed and executed to ensure client SLA’s are met.
Controlling, overseeing, reviewing and preparing net asset valuations for entities where appropriate, ensuring the proper administration of these entities.
Reviewing and reconciling the Fund client accounts as per SLA’s
Working closely with the outsourcing partner and the alternatives team to ensure proper administration of relevant entities.
Providing training, support and guidance to the outsourcing partner and the alternatives team, managing the team in all aspects of fund administration and valuations.
Ensuring adequate cover is in place for alternatives team when required, ensuring cross-training and system training is carried out.
Handling and resolving complex and unusual operational and managerial problems that are referred to from above and below.
Maintaining and developing expertise and providing advice to clients, demonstrating judgement and understanding of the business.
Holding responsibility for ensuring the timely setting and completion of objectives and key results.
Participating in the new business opportunity process when required.
Rapidly identifying root causes from valuation and production issues and organising the team to resolve the issues.
Prioritising projects and work to determine the best options for work loads, assigning project tasks and ensuring a high quality and timely delivery of projects and work.

Skills / Qualifications

A demonstrated sound knowledge of fund administration, recording of financial transactions, preparation of net asset valuations and financial reports, with a proven track record of client service excellence and proven experience successfully delivering business change projects, along with a delivery focused and collaborative approach to work, high attention to detail and outstanding organisational and leadership skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a deadline and volume driven environment whilst maintaining accuracy and focus are essential to the role.
