Our client, a leading provider of offshore fiduciary and administration services with over 350 professionals across ten jurisdictions, is looking to add a Senior Fund Administrator to their Fund Services Team.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Interacting and communicating accurately, clearly and on a timely basis with clients and other professional advisers as required in order to operate, manage and administer the structures.
Working closely with the accounting team to ensure that the bookkeeping and accounting arising from all transactions, and in particular the investment transactions, are performed in a timely and accurate manner and provide such support and guidance as is necessary to ensure that this objective is constantly met.
Calculating and paying on behalf of the fund and other entities, all fees and expenses payable, in accordance with the Company’s agreed procedures.
Arranging approval and payment of all invoices received, in accordance with the Company’s agreed procedures.
Ensuring that each structure’s cash is held in accordance with the constitutive documentation appropriate cash management policies and service level agreements.
Arranging the timely transfer of funds including for investment purchases and distributions within the required deadlines, in accordance with the Company’s agreed procedures.
Handling foreign exchange deals as required, in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
Reviewing and calculating the cash position, ensuring that funds are available to cover all payments due out of the account and investing surplus cash accordingly to ensure that we optimise the client’s investment income.
Reconciling bank accounts, in accordance with agreed procedures and follow up outstanding reconciling items.
Interacting with the Corporate Secretarial team in organising Board meetings including investment transactions, agendas and board papers and ensure relevant action points are carried out on a timely basis.

Skills / Qualifications

Candidates will hold a professional qualification or working towards a qualification. The candidate will possess a strong knowledge of private equity and fund administration and an awareness of offshore management. The Candidates will be required to follow procedures and work closely with the company’s Fund Accountants, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and time management in addition to excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
