Audit Senior

• Leading audit engagements from planning to completion across a range of clients.
• Performing risk assessments and developing tailored audit strategies.
• Conducting substantive testing, analytical review and evaluation of internal controls.
• Preparing accurate working papers and comprehensive audit files.
• Drafting audit reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Ensuring all audits comply with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the audit process.
• Participating in client meetings and supporting business development initiatives.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes, audit methodologies and accounting standards.
• Managing workload effectively and meeting all required deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or hold an equivalent professional or functional qualification, with evidence of ongoing professional development. They will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE and a strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements is essential. Applicants must have excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, engage with clients, and manage multiple audit assignments effectively. A proactive and collaborative approach, combined with a focus on quality, will be key to success in this role.
