Our client, one of the leading trust and pension providers in Guernsey, is seeking to recruit a Senior Trust Officer/ Assistant Trust Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Provide a high level of client care on all trust matters relating to a designated portfolio of trusts and corporate structures.
Handle the day to day administration, management and control of administration of designated portfolio.
Complete all scheduled investment reviews and sending for scanning and filing
Ensure all income and fee payments have been administered and executed correctly.
Ensure all internal procedures have been followed.
Maintain accurate data on all client files together with full documentation.
Adhere to internal processes and procedures ensuring all legal, ethical and regulatory requirements are understood and maintained.
Manage fiduciary relationships to ensure timely responses to clients.
Respond effectively verbally and in writing when dealing with clients, intermediaries and related parties.
Be involved in the preparation of, and attend client meetings, and follow up on action points.
Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment in which we operate.
Ensure all elements of the role are managed in accordance with the relevant laws, regulatory rules and company procedure.
Keep up to date with new developments in Trust services and products and take responsibility for continuing self-development.
First sign off on administration work.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be either fully qualified, or will working towards industry relevant qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years’ working in a trust administration role, with solid experience in dealing with HNW clients. Applicants will possess a good understanding of international trust concepts and practices, as well as of AML related procedures relevant to the role. The successful candidate will be able to respond effectively, verbally and in writing when dealing with clients, intermediaries and relationship managers and will operate in a methodical and logical manner. This role will suit a dynamic and thorough individual, who has a proven track record of working in a fast moving trust environment.
