This role combines relationship management, business development and commercial thinking within a dynamic banking environment. You'll manage and grow a portfolio of intermediary relationships, identify opportunities across the Bank's product offering and work closely with colleagues to deliver an outstanding client experience. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with trust and corporate service providers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Bank's product offering.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and act as a trusted point of contact for intermediary clients.
  • Develop client contact strategies to support business growth and relationship development.
  • Manage client portfolios in line with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Risk, Compliance and New Business teams to support client onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for lending, deposits, foreign exchange, custody and wealth management services.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and contribute towards commercial objectives.
  • Generate referrals across the wider business where appropriate.
  • Support client events and relationship-building initiatives.

Skills / Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced relationship manager with a strong background in sales, business development and client relationship management, ideally within banking or financial services. You'll possess excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, together with the ability to understand client needs and develop tailored banking solutions. A good understanding of treasury, lending, capital markets and investment products is essential, alongside knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management within a regulated financial institution. You'll be commercially focused, highly organised and self-motivated, with a proven ability to build long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities and consistently deliver exceptional client service.
