You'll oversee the day-to-day management of a client relationship team, support the administration of retirement and savings products and help ensure clients receive a consistently high standard of service. The role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence both team performance and client outcomes.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and support the Client Relationship team, ensuring a consistently high standard of client service.
  • Manage a portfolio of retirement and savings clients, acting as a key point of contact for clients and brokers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the timely processing of administration requests, ensuring agreed service standards and KPIs are achieved.
  • Coordinate and maintain client due diligence documentation and respond to client due diligence requests.
  • Monitor outstanding debtor balances and escalate overdue matters where appropriate.
  • Review and prepare client documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Promote the use of online client services and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to deliver the most appropriate solutions for clients.
  • Support projects, system enhancements and process improvements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate team members while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading or supervising a client relationship or customer service team, ideally within insurance, retirement, savings or financial services. You'll possess excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, brokers and colleagues. A strong customer focus, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential, along with experience of client due diligence processes and a proactive approach to improving service delivery. You'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys developing people, driving continuous improvement and delivering consistently high standards of client service.
